Here’s one for you…how many people remember the movie “Cornbread, Earl and Me”? How about “School Daze”? Maybe “Boyz N The Hood”? I know you know the TV show “Blackish”. Well, between all of those movies and TV shows, Laurence Fishburne starred in a little known movie about 17 years ago called “The Matrix”. And Funko got the rights to produce the cutesy little Pop! vinyls from it…

Get this…this isn’t even the only Laurence Fishburne Funko Pop! Vinyl. The other one is from his short-lived television series, Hannibal. If he keeps this up, he’ll end up catching up and passing (not likely) Samuel L. Jackson for the most figures made from his likeness.

Funko once again shows that they own every pop culture license known to man. They can’t be stopped (or we can’t stop buying them, I can’t figure it out yet). Let me just say that I’m glad I’m not a Funko Pop! completist…after visiting a FYE recently and seeing their huge wall of Funko Pop! offerings, I would just have gone crazy trying to purchase and keep up with all that. Pick and choose people, pick and choose…
